Vision: To strengthen the Educational Services on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation to become a leader in academic excellence. 

Mission: Promote lifelong learning opportunities, expand education infrastructure, enhance 
education programs, assist and collaborate with schools, promote Lakota Language and Culture by fostering excellence in educational standards to enhance tribal sovereignty for the future of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and its members.

Services: Implement Tribal Council Directions; Provide recommendations on all aspects of education; Develop & Maintain the Education Code; Oversee education-related programs; Facilitate a consortium of CR schools and programs: Administer and provide oversight to Tribal education programs; work closely with tribal, state and federal government agencies; Work in conjunction with Ordinance 66; Gather, compile and analyze education data; monitor compliance of Ordinance 82; monitor and evaluate education program compliance; Monitor & coordinate program function - Johnson O'Malley, Title I, School Boards, Higher Education, Employment Assistance Grant Programs, Head Start, Takini & Tiospaye Topa schools and other education programs as identified by the Tribe.
